JAYGAD PORT now named after SHRI KANHOJI ANGRE is the most natural port of KONKAN is another 18 kilometres from GANPTIPULE and the a fort nearby is called JAIGAD FORT.

Near JAIGAD FORT one can visit KARHATESHWAR a SHIVA TEMPLE and a beautiful JAIGAD LIGHTHOUSE.

PAWAS is 16 kilometres famous for  the birthplace and Samadhi place  of the famous saint SWAMI SWARUPANANDA.

5 kilometres from PAWAS is another famous GANESH TEMPLE at village GANESHGULE which is 400 year old temple. GANESHGULE has a beautiful beach too.
